Building Successful Partnerships… Spread the word about the importance of parent involvement.

Parents, principals, and teachers can help students succeed by requesting Building Successful Partnerships training for their schools. Request one, two, or all three modules that make up this training program. Once you’re done, you’ll be ready to put a new and improved parent involvement program into action!

Research shows that parent involvement programs enhance student success. What research? Module I of Building Successful Partnerships presents the research findings and includes an overview of the National Standards for Parent and Family Involvement.

Module II shows participants how to use the findings discussed in Module I. It takes participants through the process of assessing their current parent involvement programs and developing plans to increase their programs’ effectiveness.

Module III moves past the review stage and into the all-important action stage. Using an interactive workshop format, it covers the nitty-gritty of setting priorities, implementing plans, and writing policies.
